OCTOBER

General Conference & a visit to Grammy and Uncle Don to bring a pumpkin pie and help pick up walnuts:) I also took 70% of her candle holder collection πŸ˜„
President Nelson says we need to give away even our favorite sins. 😘
These truths “rest deep within me”
LOVE this wording from Elder Rasband.
Here are my truths that rest deep within me. I have a Savior.  He paid the price for my follies, imperfections, where I constantly fall short.  He ALSO lovingly performed the Atonement so I can feel His grace, His hands lifting me always.  Because I know this I TRY to live in such a way to please Him and my Father in Heaven only…sincerely only them.

1st pumpkin patch. TOO hot. Note to self: go way later in the month. Fun slide though.

“I love rainbows.  I can’t ever imagine not loving rainbows.  I think about what my rainbow house will look like someday and I don’t care if my boyfriend likes it….no….I’m not having a boyfriend, I don’t care if my cat likes it or not πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Fun last minute trip to the cabin to buy our massive Grandfather clock, eat chick fil a, visit the property, play in the SNOW for a moment, help Brett beat Eli’s jenga record and eat moms best pancakes.

These are brave girls…ran to the neighbors to retrieve Tia Sophia’s packages delivered there 😌

We babysat Mason. Girls were thrilled πŸ˜„

I wanted to visit Wal Mart in Ceres one day for Home Edit supplies and Christmas decor was out way too early! These girls…their faces falling right after I said “no way” to these stuffed animals.

Our most favorite pumpkin bread recipe! We made way too many loaves!!!!

My kitty 😍

A visit to Tia Sophia for Halloween nail times!

Sweater vest for our kitty. Only stayed in it for a minute.

Girls WAY too excited I was leaving the house!

Noelle experiments…homemade shoes and ALL of the scrunchies in the house in her ponytail.

EyeballsπŸ˜œπŸ‘€

Halloween has started to snuggle with Noelle
in her bed and she LOVES it.

Shopping with the whole gang

The reality that God knew me before this brings me so much comfort.
He knows me even more so now letting me live my life on Earth.
He knows my personality so intimately…my fears of public speaking, my introverted tendencies, my weakness for all holiday shaped Reese’s candy…
He knows my heart. The great love I have for my husband, the lack of desire I have to cook, my true love for baking, my tendencies to kill plants but love for having them around, my enormous lack of talent when it comes to crafting, my obsession with Halloween decor, the overwhelm I can sometimes feel as a mother who does not feel she is doing enough, my stress when it comes to socializing …
All of these seemingly insignificant details that make up who I am. All of my shortcomings and future mistakes…He knows them & still loves me & still wants me back with Him.

Temple- sometime in 1700s
Could not pronounce her name … asked temple worker & her response .. “Heavenly Father knows her & it will all be worked out on the other side.”
Truth πŸ™ŒπŸΌ thank goodness.

My family tells me I do NOT have a problem.

Our 2nd pumpkin patch experience was much better. We got to cheer for Petunia the pig during a pig race! Lots of sliding, a cow cart ride, petting the goats and Brett and Michael Joe tried to race on the hard to pedal bikes;) We all did half a mile of corn maze and then were done.  Tia Sophia took the girls the last 4 miles while we watched Mason climb hay bales and photo bomb a sibling photo at the top:) Only took them 20 minutes!  We got, quite possibly, the best Indian food we’ve ever had at a place next to a gas station in Patterson. Yum.
Then we went to Wal Mart there to scout out more home edit and ended up buying a few Christmas things…😊 Too early, I know.

My little rockstar, hard working baby helping me hammer out walnuts!! She is the coolest.

This little sweetest-eyed babe joined our family.
Hyrum Maverick Dahlin.  Perfect little buddy.

Remi created THE most ADORABLE snowman! Jet and Aunt Lili starting to build bracelets from the rubber bands Noelle sent over:)

The day before Halloween we carved pumpkins, watched the Haunted Mansion and made my second batch of pumpkin cookies for the season.  It felt like a slower Halloween holiday this year…we watched less movies, visited less pumpkin patches, I baked less….still all good though:)

The SKY on Halloween MORNING!!! Me and Gwinna walked outside and she was like “WOW! It’s orange! Perfect for Halloween day!”

Dressed up for LiftED:)

Joyce Byers & a Stranger Things fan 😍

A “misfit nerd,” Winnie, and Max Mayfield from Stranger Things❤
Hair by the helpful Tia Sophia.

We went trick or treating WAY longer than we usually do this year. Mason was wired after a while.
SO funny…all of the sudden he sat forward in his stroller and laughed at everything that was happening:)

AMAZING arch created by Soph and Brett!
Hehehe…makes me giddy,
I love it SO much!

This is the morning after because I completely forgot to take a picture of their loot on Halloween night!

Onto the next . . .
My Anthropologie annual gathering 😍

P. S. Sia lost two teeth this month😁😁
