OCTOBER

Pumpkin pancakes, puzzles, & other crafties for General Conference weekend ❤

This picture does NOT do them justice. One of my favorite finds this year are these potion bottle lights. Much better in person, amber bottles…got them at Ross?!! So good.

Spot the live decor…

LOVE finding things like this around. πŸ˜‚
A ghostie in the fridge. Why? I don’t know but it made me happy.
When I saw the Barbie witch hat on our raven “I laughed and I laughed and I laughed.”

Sia trying on dresses to make sure they fit for her baptism day & Noelle comes out saying (very seriously & sweetly) “awhh Halloweens going to look so cute on his baptism day!” πŸ˜‚

Kitty watching over our new TV

First pumpkin patch (beginning of October…too hot…why do we do this?) with the Murdochs😊 Brett offered to take pictures of the place with his drone and in exchange got free entry & pumpkins for all of us! So nice.  The only thing we paid for was taco truck. YUM.

After the patch we picked out fall boots/Halloween costume shoes.
Always a headache but ultimately a success.

Grandpa. Calm before the storm. I did a 2,000 piece puzzle before my mission. I believe this was his version of that.

Ghostie painting…

Practicing for the farewell

I LOVE how the girls turned out!!!!
Gwinna’s is on the top. She added bats and a “running ghost” πŸ˜„

Stanley gave me the idea of doing ghosts peaking over and around trees! Love those guys and he added the one in the air…hehe, a group effort.😊

SO this was a wild time. My goodness. Friday the 13th (note to self: NOT a good day to get your daughters ears pierced in a tattoo place.) Poor Noelle was the one stressing out the most. The atmosphere was gross. We had to wait outside. It was a day of walk-in deals so there were a ton of people (with a ton of tattoos and piercings already) crammed in the place & creepy decor to add to the overwhelm. It did not phase Sia.  She is a brave girl and went in and got it all done within 5 minutes and she pointed out after that I didn’t even hold her hand! Ugh! BAD MOM AWARD. I was concerned for Gwinna and Noelle too, who also could not handle the stress of looking at Sia while she was getting it done. They were turned away and I was trying to comfort and be with everyone at once. Anyway. Whew! It is over and her ears look so good:) She is thrilled. I took them to Chicken Barn after to calm the crazy.

Mason’s “ghostie” painting. Noelle did a little scenery for him to add to. Hand bat:)
I love how Soph set this table up. So cute.

Brainstorming for the farewell sign…hm…I didn’t get a picture of it hanging.
Anyway we went with “a presto pellegrini”

Sia made me a lego garden πŸ’›

Yikes. We felt nothing when we got this alert but the girls were scared and Michael Joe, I think, had a moment of panic and said we should go outside πŸ˜‚ I continued doing our puzzle.

A week of helping to play with these sweetest babies!!!
We also got to see Dean baby & Uncle Stanley. They tried to surprise us at the door but the girls caught them crouched over by our cars and started to yell “Its Uncle Stanley!” Wooo!
SO FUN to have them in our house for a few hours after too many years!πŸ˜„

Girls got to go to Disney on Ice in Oakland with Asher, Tio Bobo and their Tia Stephanie πŸ’«

Me & Knowie attempted to craft a fabric ghostie.
I like her…Noelle added the face:) Eyelashes. 😍

For some reason I took this as a “live” photo and it is too hilarious.

Sweet Tooth Fairy cupcakes! In our home. So cool.

We visited our new Hilmar pumpkin patch and fell in love.
SO sweet, so much to do & we did not get lost in the maze!

This was a good dia. Fresno temple in the morning, petting our friend TC (temple cat), chick fil an and home for Grandpa & Grandma’s setting apart blessings. They are doing it!!!! Woooo!

And then it was back to Fresno the next day to see them off
πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‹

Me, Michael and Uncle Don went to see the play “Murder on the Orient Express” at Gallo while Grandma and the girls painted and accessorized their pumpkins:) Gwinna had taken off the jewelry before I got a picture.

Getting ready…
Girls were SO helpful with the candy bags this year. We put Casper on the projector and I had specific piles of candy all over the bed with the number by it of how many would go in each bag. We got a system down. Noelle was putting in skittles and such and Gwinna got the chocolate half and then they’d hand the bags over to me and Sia to twistie tie shut and put in our baskets:) So awesome!

For some reason they decided to break out their pastel legos and create some fun new guys. Marshmallow, bunny, a sloth!, a robot and a dog.

Carving & pumpkin pie eating

Morning of…

Finally finished these hocus pocus legos! Sia placed the sisters in their “calming circle” HEHE.
Love it.

Since the Murdochs were sicky this year I had to do my best with the girls. Gwinna’s nails, Gwinnas wig, Noelles hair, (she wanted to look like Vanellope with the bangs and everything..we YouTubed a way!) Sia’s hair…braided the night before and then sprayed with two whole cans of blonde in the backyard:) CRAZY. Fun though.
Gwinna - Enid
 Noelle - Vanellope
 Sia - Luna Lovegood

Such a great month. NOT ready to say goodbye.πŸ˜
