tree tree tree

ready to find a tree in her winter overalls!!!

Dad picked it!

waiting patiently for daddy to bring it in...

it was a little bit heavier this year & all I could do was hold the door and take pictures:)

whew!

Gwinna loves it already

yay!! its straight and fluffy!!

oh Christmas tree.
we love you!

Thanksgiving

OK so this is a tad embarrassing but I am 8 months pregnant & a little bit overwhelmed thinking about  moving and packing AND having a new baby right before!
SO we decided CHUCK A RAMA would be the perfect idea for a Thanksgiving feast.  Unfortunately most of Orem thought it was good idea too!
Michael waited in line for over an hour for us!
It is such a disgusting sounding name so I was very skeptical when Michael told me how good the food really is.
He did NOT lie & I was in heaven.  I pretty much LOVED everything I ate and of course I sampled almost every dessert they had...no picture of that but I had carrot cake, lava cake, german chocolate cake, apple crisp, banana bread AND pumpkin pie all on my plate at once! I had a bite (or 2) of each.  Yeah.
I am not ashamed:)

Family FUN

The Bean Museum had a fun night for employees and their families!
It was amazing (and sometimes creepy)!
We all LOVED it.

I love this guy.

Our first and last BYU football game as a family.
It was freezing & rainy but we still had fun and got a great work out carrying Gwinna back and forth to our parking spot! (thank you Spencer!)

church lately

Church with Gwinna lately is somewhat of an exhausting experience;) We love our little crazy but she CAN be just that...crazy.  Our seats now (actually have always been) are the very back row in the furthest corner of the chapel.  We block our little one in & hope that she does not fight too hard to get past our legs later in the meeting.  If there is a toddler in front of us it actually makes her more calm! Which is lovely because the past few weeks there have been little toddler boys crazier than our Gwinna right in front of us...this makes us feel better and keeps Gwinna entertained & happy...?
Usually in the last 15 minutes is when she gets antsy so Michael takes her out and paces or lets her roam until she threatens to whack another little one (this has only happened once so far.)
The next hour it depends...
We got an awesome calling a while back as sunday school  teachers for the 12-14 year olds!  It can be exhausting too but very fun.  We have been alternating with another couple so we each only teach about once a month, which is perfect!  We know Gwinna will be a distraction so we are not able to teach together.  The pictures below are of me and Gwinna in a room together while dad teaches;)
The third hour also varies.  Much of the time Michael has been taking Gwinna home for a nap & letting me stay for Relief Society.  What a man.  It is lovely and one of the sisters even mentioned to me how great it was that Michael takes her:)
