day after Valentine's...

Michael considers this our REAL Valentine's day.  It began with dropping off a fellow law student at the SLC airport.
We then headed over to the mall, when to my dismay, I discovered (on the way) that my Anthropologie was no longer a part of it! I quickly found where they relocated to (a fancier, smaller mall nearby) and we headed over;)
After paying for 2 parking spots (not on purpose) we bundled Gwinna up in her stroller and we were off!
First stop: Restoration Hardware.  I later found out that this beautiful store is one of a kind. It had some great inspiration for the future...too colorless for me overall but really great stuff! A rope chandelier for instance...."different."
Second stop: Anthropologie aka the greatest store in the Universe.  I LOVE everything about it.  Lots of color but also some really great antique furniture (that Michael always says is his favorite part, but a lot of it is not even for sale;)  So my rock star of a husband let me soak it all in because we have not visited one since San Diego!
I took my sweet time and he patiently showed Gwinna stuffed animals and held lotions & candles up to her nose so she could smell. I finally settled on a great big candle & a fun decorative plate.  (hand painted in Portugal;) LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Our next stops included: Chik Fil-A, Lush, West Elm & Papyrus (wherein my husband also spoiled me!)

Our NEXT adventure on this lovely day included the Hogle Zoo! We soon realized that with SNOW ON THE GROUND still few animals would actually be out & about! Oh well....we still had fun walking around this little zoo. Gwinna was a tad bored after awhile and passed right out;)

We decided we were on a roll...doing everything we wanted to far away from our house (we are just never quite motivated to drive to Salt Lake...) SO we decided to also visit the aquarium, which Gwinna LOVED!!! She kicked her legs and arms every time we held her up to glass to see a cool new creature.  So in turn, her parents had so much watching her! ;)
We love our little monkey girl!!!
Sushi for dinner. Are we sick or what?:)

And then ... we RELAXED for the rest of the evening....I so love being home with my little family :)
