JANUARY

Our girls tried to bring in the new year like thisπŸ‘†πŸ‘†πŸ‘† but apparently the kitties messed with the remote and it did not happen exactly right. We drank sparkling cider together and read our jar of gratitude cards that we write throughout the year. Fun to go through the memories of 2024 that way. Noelle attempted mini flat bread pizzas that she was not impressed with. Sia made poppers for all of us:)

El Menos in SLC is the name of a Mexican food restaurant me and MJ came across when we shopped for new suits for him together.

Of course I had to stop in Anthro & Free People too πŸ˜‹

Snow out our kitchen window. I will never get over the magic.

Provo Beach arcade & massive dole whips for the girls!

Dad looking like Hugh!

I started my new Provo temperature blanket.
I am giddy about beginning again!

New year collages with the gals.
We have all gotten excited about “junk journaling” this year… we will see how it goes…

Noelle hand cut all of these AMAZING noodles. She said she saw red sauce in our fridge but we didn’t have any pasta so she made it! She fed us dinner that night. SO SO good.

The beautiful Orem temple.

Opening Christmas presents via FaceTime with Avo, Tia Stephanie, Asher & Bobo! HUGE boxes!

Noelle’s FIRST YW activity was baptisms in the Orem temple. It made me so happy to know she got to experience warm water:)

We discovered a horror film was shot in our home! This is what it used to look like. CRAZY.

Traveling to Idaho with my girlfriends.

My baby brothers. It was just so good to BE with them, just to EXIST next to my siblings for a few days. Good, sweet, funny memories created.

Navy Braelynn baby. Such a sweetie girl. So alert & precious. Could have held her all day but I had to share a little bit.

Sia had so much fun playing with her higher energy boy cousins;)

Why do I look shorter than Soph here?

Funny boys

I let my brave, awesome siblings slide down the hill with my girls. I am a bit traumatized from my one and only sledding trip when I slammed down right on my tail bone.

Stanley created so many amazing things! So many sourdough loaves (that always disappeared too fast!), monkey bread, sourdough crackers & focaccia!

Fun to hotel with these babies.
Of course we missed the Daddy Joe but these girls gave me confidence that we can handle traveling together without panicking or falling apart. ‘Twas actually a lot of fun just to be with them.

We determined that the Idaho Falls airport is even smaller than Fresno!

Finally had Sia take a picture of our cute Osmond Lane sign❤

Kitties just waiting for us…
We hung out with them for a couple days and then turned right around to travel to California (with MJ this time). I could take my mind out and follow him like a little duckling that likes to shop.

We ran into Dean and Stanley on their way home in the SLC airport. SO fun because I didn’t have the chance to hug Stanley goodbye the morning we left Idaho. Also perfect because Stanley had to run back to the plane to find his ID and we got Burger King/ Dean time:) hehehe.

Asher baby. He is too cute…I started reading to him and he knew all of the stories. We spent one night with them & one night at the Murdochs after the Bluey birthday party.

Napping with the Mack Murray after my Lucero appointment. Sweet boy woke up, flailed a bit, looked at me, put his hand on my face and passed right back out.
Also he pointed to me and said “mom!” When I showed him this picture later that day.

This girl came into my room with this massive jar of cookies she had just MADE and offered me one.
Oh my word. She is dangerous and WONDERFUL. πŸ˜‚

Play doh snowmen in January.

Mall trip for to shop for Sia shoes. Their feet grow so very quickly!

Ice skating YW activity! Too fun.

Shopping the Riverwoods and Happy Sumo date with the daddy.

Me and the girls went to see MUFASA together and I was so surprised that I found myself loving everything about it. Such beautiful creatures, great music, sad but amazing story line. So good. Noelle looked at me about an hour in and said “I’m bored” and then I saw her curl into the seat and fall ASLEEP! Ha!

Closet snowy view😍
“Just amazing to me, it is absolutely amazing.”

These two created a Disney World around the house! I wish I had taken pictures but they actually cleaned it up before I was able to…stuffed animals everywhere, rides labeled.  In this picture Noelle is singing along to Be our Guest as she serves Sia. Later I saw her pushing Sia on her rolling chair talking about animals around every corner and they got to the kitchen sink (with elephant stuffed animals around it) and I heard her say “oh beware of the elephants..you might get wet!”…and THEN she sprayed her full blast! Hahahaha. Oh goodness. These babies.

Helping me visualize….

shoveling… 😍

Carrot cake?! Oh my. SO good.

Haircut trip with my girls. I let them explain exactly what they wanted to their “stylists.”
One of them said “wow. Best mom ever! I wanted to cut my hair when I was younger and she never let me, so I chopped it myself one day.”
I suppose I was opposite, I have told my girls that I always cried after haircuts because I always had regrets of going too short.
They have ZERO regrets, they are not me!
Thank goodness for that. They truly are so much better.
Confident, cutie girls.
