NOVEMBER (1st half)
I told Lil recently that I keep my favorites in my closet...it is TRUTH Lils!
Sophia's baby SHOWER! WOOO!
Me & Lil started discussing around beginning of September and from that point on I became slightly obsessed with planning. I wanted it to be simple, low pressure and colorful for our Sophia baby. Lil did awesome stamp signs & helped keep me sane during it all.
I dusted and prepped with Mama and we saw each other 5 days in a row the week of. Fun discussing favorite children and such ;) hehe.
It turned out to be a great night. We had a candy corn guessing jar for the kids and coloring table set up. We had a giraffe baby poop guessing jar for adults and another ABC book coloring station too. Mom made amazing hot cider. Everyone was so happy to get a cup of Fall:) We had carrot cake, chocolate and cherry cheesecake from Olde Tyme. Grandma Florence won our belly guessing game. Perfect.
Stacey won Would She Rather and Melissa got our diaper raffle prize.
It was a cozy night & nice to see other human beings at this time in our wild world!
Noelle & Gwinna are doing an acting class at Gallo for a few weeks and Sia decided to stay home. Then she called me as soon as I got there and we chatted the whole hour! haha. I told her she needs to just come next week, but it was a fun time with my baby. Hilarious kid.
YEP. This year we started decorating for Christmas on November 12th. And guess what? That will be happening every year now because it brings me JOY! ha!
notes in November. . .
GRATEFUL
Gwinna & her example in teaching us to make grateful hands yesterday
The calm & stillness of waking up early
My capable body
Scripture this morning
Christ ministering to others. I can learn a ton. I have zero compassion really... he had to go but he didn’t, instead he spent energy, time, love, healing these 2500 people... I can be better with my 3 girls! I can be more present & loving for them. I will be. Grateful for Saviors example in this.
6:16 PM
This made a difference in my life today. I sat down with all of my girls individually today and played games! Gwinna- go fish and both Sia and Noelle Halloween memory game! I know this is the Lord working in my life. Changing my focus and my attitude about my NEED to get all of the house work done..the interesting part is I had more than enough time for house work, meals, helping with school work, scripture study AND individually connecting with each baby. The more I decide to make an effort to be Christlike the more Heavenly Father allows me to both accomplish what I WANT and to slow down for the more important times in my life. Truly merciful & I am humbled to the dust by this lovely day. It was wonderful and of course I feel completely undeserving but also very cared for & loved by my Elder Brother and Father in Heaven.
Grateful for
an optimistic husband
new shake we have been drinking
opportunity to do something good for Soph (shower)
When I really ponder on my deepest desires they are the following -
I desire peace - physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally- just in every possible facet of life.
In myself & my families lives.
I desire my children to be good, kind human beings who want to (on their own) serve & are constantly looking outside themselves.
Peace is number one and I know that really is the Holy Ghost. In the midst of awful moments in my life I know I can feel Him and I have! So why not now? Why not work & pray & serve to feel Him daily...moment by moment. I forget, fall short, get lazy, become careless ugh... specific prayers that He is present in my life will help me focus on keeping him there. I know this. So do it Hannah!
3 Nephi 19:9
And they did pray for that which they most desired; and they desired that the Holy Ghost should be given unto them.
Grateful for today:
peloton
joy from having my Halloween kitty
feeling the Spirit when I read the Book of Mormon
President Eyring points out that we should ponder what we have done right and well during the week...not focus completely on where we have fallen short during the sacrament HELLO! Of course. Much healthier.
He said maybe even take a moment to ask God to help us see the good!

Halloween was interesting this year... I liked it. Not crowded. We experienced the covid candy tube at one house :) I used a hot glue gun for the first time in a long time to help my marshmallow queen prep her costume :) Sia decided on Vampirina after considering being a pumpkin or Jessie first. Gwinna was a very pretty bat. We did a candy table and filled over 100 bags and ended up with about 20 left. We drove out to visit my parents first and then Stephanie. Avo walked with us this year and we enjoyed the pretty blue moon and a much smaller candy haul! YAY!
