Michael Joe made chili! I made an apple pie!
We definitely belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We love it.
There was so much detail that went into planning this event...I don't even know where to begin! I wish I had taken MORE PICTURES! Painted trees, pumpkins, leaves stapled to ribbon, cardboard branches for the tops of the pillars, white picket fences...to name a few that I didn't catch pictures of!!!
Nikole Koch (pictured below) is the master mind behind it all.
She is so very crafty and creative and she had a vision and
went for it and it turned out beautifully!
There was a little cafe area (also not pictured) tables covered in red and white checkers with jars on each table with tea lights wrapped in a layer of yellow tissue paper. So perfect.

Michael was in charge of the doughnut-eating contests! |
|
It went on all night.... |

This is Nikole (the master mind!) |

Here is one picture of the dinner tables... |

Nikole, taking charge. |

Michael Joe.
The missionaries said he could be superman if he shaved. |

Me. |

Emi and Ellery...a couple of my crazy activity-day girls. I love them! |

This one I edited... |

These were the real colors of the night;) |
Our chili did not win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. Michael is still
a tad bitter about it.
(I later learned that he doubled the chili powder!! It burned my throat...;)
