Thanksgiving:)

Michael did our turkey and we made stuffing from scratch! And mashed potatoes! 

We are grateful for FOOD! And everything else in this life and in the one to come:) 

We love SeaWorld!

A SeaWorld date.

Today we just wanted to bask in the sun with these guys...

We even love the annoying birds stalking us as we eat!

Chili cook-off and Fall Carnival!

Michael Joe made chili! I made an apple pie! 

We definitely belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We love it. 

There was so much detail that went into planning this event...I don't even know where to begin! I wish I had taken MORE PICTURES! Painted trees, pumpkins, leaves stapled to ribbon, cardboard branches for the tops of the pillars, white picket fences...to name a few that I didn't catch pictures of!!! 

Nikole Koch (pictured below) is the master mind behind it all. 

She is so very crafty and creative and she had a vision and 

went for it and it turned out beautifully! 

There was a little cafe area (also not pictured) tables covered in red and white checkers with jars on each table with tea lights wrapped in a layer of yellow tissue paper. So perfect. 

Michael was in charge of the doughnut-eating contests! 

It went on all night....

Our chili did not win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. Michael is still

a tad bitter about it.

(I later learned that he doubled the chili powder!! It burned my throat...;)

For you Cara Jean...

Here is our Halloweeny home...mostly this post is for my bestest friend Cara Jean who is out of the country at the moment...and for many moments to come:( Miss you!!!!!!!!!!! 

Anyway Michael JOE loves Halloween so here is our decked out little apartment;) ;)

My husband

Did I mention that my husband drove us over here to our lovely home in San Diego in this large UHAUL truck? ;) He's pretty much amazing...

He also flexes for me everyday...

And cooks a lot for me too! 

And hangs things on the walls for me...

And studies for law school! 

And flexes while he's cooking...

AND uses our community BBQ;) 

AND he runs;) 

happy...

We are happy. We just are. I am happy shopping for food, watching movies all day, and attempting, every once in a while, to make a meal for my poor, sweet husband :/ 
He told me tonight (as he ate my burnt pancakes) that my pancakes were his favorite.  He was totally honest when he said it too! What an incredible man I married...
Michael is happy too. Almost everyday he exclaims that he "loves law school!" How great is that?! 
I love law school too because it makes him happy;)
