June started off on a VERY unfortunate note… but look at the sweetest Noelle down there first & note how amazing she is in creating sweet letters for her classmates & taping her own candies to them:)
Me & Sia AFTER the very unfortunate event…her sweet & comforting and me looking completely wiped out but I was grateful for her silliness in this moment. I backed into a truck in the Post Office parking lot. BARF. And that is all I want to say about it. Me & Michael had so much fun all month watching the crazy Johnny Depp trial and also found out on this day that he had won but it was overshadowed by my tears & guilt.
LAST DAY for these babies…Gwinna 4th, Noelle 2nd & Sia got to do kindergarten at our Elim Elementary. Truly last day ever at the school. We will be homeschooling and I am equal parts thrilled & terrified!
I think I may have made fun of Kindergarten graduation in the past but I am so happy she got to leave on this note. It was very sweet & special for our Sia and she got the “All Around All Star” award.
These two were “buddies” in school & I am so happy they loved it!!
Am I a terrible mom…yes…ugh I actually asked her if we could take pictures to remember this awesome heart forever and then throw it away because. . . GLITTER….:/
Gwinnas last day = pool day!
Summer messes
Noelle scrapbooking her baby boy cousins :)
I gave Great Grandma a frame with all of these pictures in it, plus one of the girls this year for her birthday.
Celebrated at Golden Bowl restaurant in Hughson this year :)
There are moments when these girls get along SO well & even organize fake birthday parties for each other….love these moments!
Smoothie making
Forts everywhere!
Even one for the kitty. . .
Barnes & Noble Sia pointed out the Harry Potter crocheted project and asked me to do them for her and then of course Michael found The Office characters and asked me to do them for him! SO…here are my first attempts - Jim & Pam. Ehh…hopefully they get better. Hehe. So fun to do though.
Playing memory with this sweet girlfriend.
It was like the 2nd day of summer when this silly girlfriend asked me to help her make sloth claws and proceeded to get my brown clothes on and dress like a sloth:)
Soph informed us it was national chocolate pudding day so naturally…me & Gwinna immediately made some realizing we did, in fact, have cornstarch!!! π
Seems to usually be my babies or Michael Joe that get me in to see Grandpa for an adjustment! I could not help myself…started to organize dad’s magazines & he asked if I was taking some out so I did that too! YAY! Then we crafted!πππ
Great Grandma handed us this article before we went to see Star Wars A New Hope at Gallo. It said we would get goosebumps and we all did! It was a very cool experience having live music for the movie! We left the girls with Great Grandma this day and they made amazing button necklaces, ate pizza & cookies and played with Beanie & Sheldon. So great.
Got my own dad this lovely shirt & accidentally put him on it! Ha! Stanley the fourth NOT the third. UGH. Oops. I taught Noelle and Sia how to make hemp bracelets this month too and Noelle made her Grandpa a cool anklet. She has taken over my job :)
Fathers Day weekend the girls made Michael a fun sign & we all went downtown Turlock shopping & had Bistro 234 with fancy desserts ;)
Oh and he convinced me to add to my pie plate collection πππ
Yes…I blow bubbles for my kitty & sometimes he just looks annoyed by itπ
And we stroll him around & get him cozy.
Noelle can almost always be found somewhere close to her Halloween kitty.
Me too
FRESNO trip as a family. First stop was the temple π Always a great moment. Then, of course, Chick Fil-A for an early lunch. I could drink that honey BBQ sauce. Probably a good thing we don’t have one around here. Next we headed over to LUSH & then the mall wherein we discovered a Build a Bear! Actually Michael did on a map and quietly told me about it and we surprised the girls by just walking up to it to see how they would react. VERY excited because Cassidy had told them that if their dad didn’t bring them there someday she would quit π
We each got something fun. I only got Hedwig because I am excited to decorate with him by our Harry Potter tree at Christmas time. Michael got the Darth “Joedar” (what he named him) and the girls got very colorful ones with very colorful outfits.
Anyway, fun once-in-a-lifetime experience.
We DISCOVERED papersource on our search for Anthropologie. TOO much fun in there. Michael took one picture of this paper and I was busy trying to take it all in:)
FOUND ANTHRO! BEST.
ITS TRADITION! Got a picture with this cute bear at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory with all 3 of my girls! Sia needed my sunglasses ;)
Hobby Lobby fun with my funny gals.
We finally visited our cute little Hilmar Community library & got a card to check out books! Girls picked a science book…hence the skittles in water:)
Our Cold Stone bet day turned into getting kitty food and lots of kitty presents for his birthday & a lego set for dad. Which one? Which one?
Some more RANDOM Summer things:
Swimming at Tia Stephanies
Discovering a mug I may have to buy someday
In the last couple weeks of school Noelle & Gwinna each had a friend over…a new experience for me. Fun:)
Gwinna thrilled with her letter from her pen pal AUNT LILI!!!
GREAT Grandma texting me pictures of this cutest fox family that hung out there for quite a while.
Sia sweeping up the corn “hairs” hehe
Girls saying goodbye to their new Portuguese tutor, Carlotta. (Whom Gwinna says reminds her of Alicia Keys) She is beautiful and hilarious and the girls love learning with her.
Knowie getting cozy at Grandmas after swimming:)
ALSO: Very last day of June was much better than the first. Noelle had made a bet with me the day before that she didn’t believe I could go a whole day without quoting a movie. I (foolishly) thought I could totally do it. If she won the bet we would have to go to cold stone that day, and of course, I had to be honest, she said…if I was only with dad I’d have to tell her that I quoted. ANYWAY…6:45 AM I LOST! Of course I was with Michael and he immediately ran to tell the girls!
Just Married “I’m claustrophobic OK?!”
JUNE 10 -
Sia after telling me a funny story … “OK Imma twirl away now.”
She does so.
File away under moments to never forget.
Oh ALSO. One day this month there was a massive fly in the house and I offered the girls 5 whole dollars for anyone who could kill it for me and NOELLE DID IT! …and then proceeded to kill 3 more π
