 ‘Twas quite an eventful shorty LOVE month! 

Noelle building chain creations with me one morning and then proceeded to strike a million poses with said creations😆

These baby cats love to be under our trees. 

Side note: they’ve already chewed through the lights on one of them (oh and also Michael Joe read that these guys are kitty-like for 5 years!) 

Oh and also they are tree climbers!!! Lovely but it is SO hard to get upset with them, they’re too adorable. 

Another side note: one woke me up the other night purring so heavily close to my head and I woke up laughing and started petting him. Michael Joe gave me a hard time “if I woke you up … you’d be so mad but NO a kitty does it and he lives!” 😅

Stake Conference notes & impressions

For my lesson: 2 Nephi 2:2 - for your good Entering name Into scripture (do this for my lesson?) powerful  look up WHEN to get patriarchal blessing (handbook) 

 -create more holy habits & righteous routines

- Satan is quadrupling his efforts  (START FHE again 4:00 & rotate leaders) 

-Stevenson -read 10 minutes a day BOM 

-Brain retains less at 25 NOW is the time to learn all of the things (youth!) 

-Satan targets the youth- most vulnerable right now! 

 Ogletree gave  -Mini lesson on life by changing our closing song to onward Christian soldiers -God can have different better plans for us as we follow the spirit  

-“I love repentance, it’s the best!” So joyfully said by a panel member! Such great 20 + kids!!!

 “David wasn’t focused on how big Goliath was, he was focused on how big God was” (this was said by a YOUNG boy maybe 12 and just blew me away. 

How has the Savior gathered me closer to Him and how has that blessed my life?

 PHYSICALLY moved me to the mountains grounding, spirit-filled, alive, majestic, awe-inspiring Utah!

 -Pray daily for missionary experiences

 -What can I share daily that would make the world a better place? 

 -Truman (young elder got brain surgery on mission) bore testimony! “It is real! It’s hard sometimes but I love you!” gather Israel one by one…

Patriarch Herrod said  “What we’re chosen to do is to be a blessing to others”

 It is like a picture frame & such a fun moment I get to organize my junk on it with the changing of the holidays!

THIS NOELLE! She was so determined to do the cutesiest cupcakes for ALL of the youth for our combined minute to win it game night! She succeeded. So awesome. 

Also the games were a success, I’d say. It was such a great time for me to practice asking for HELP! I HAD to assign a leader to each game, otherwise it would have been true chaos. It was definitely chaotic but in a more controlled, fun way than it would have had I not asked for help. 

Thank goodness for our AMAZE leaders!

A mama-daughters date wherein we went to the new creamery finally!

Almost as soon as we got the news about Nora Grace joining our family Michael Joe got me a plane ticket & I got the girls their Valentine gifts since I would not be home morning of that day: ) 

Solo trip to meet my baby sister’s baby GAL! I love getting a B gate. Always great music & I walk the moving walkway to pretend I am cool;)  

Wore my favorite socks, got my favorite foods & shopped my favorite shops! 

First stop was to hug my favorite mama-in-law Isabel & laugh at Elio’s commentary & next to see Asher, Steph and Brian:) 

The BYU love note activity Noelle took charge of when I was away. 

According to all it was a successful, sweet night of spreading some love❤️ 

Our middle girls created flower bouquets for the widows in our ward. 

SO great. 

Absolutely loved my time in the Dahlin home. It is so sweet and sacred to be around a brand new soul & get to snuggle her into adjusting to Earth life. Me, Mack Murray and Mason watched David (well attempted to), put together so many puzzles, played with play doh, read some books and they showed me lots of trampoline jumping craziness… oh and we played with the crazy pin ball machine upstairs. At one point Mack was sitting on my lap and said 😍“I love you Hannah.” Another time he grabbed my feet and said “oh I love these!” Referring to my nail polish 😂  He also told me that I could stay forever! Sweet boy. I loved communicating with Mason. I could see his wheels turning when I explained to him that Grandma and Grandpa are my mom & dad & that his mom is my sister:) He pretty much put most of our puzzles together himself! I LOVE his stamina for doing that! He always wanted to be holding Nora, he loves her so much! 

Precious babies. All of them. 

It was so nice just to pop into Sophs room and get to catch up with her and just chat about life while one of us held Nora. Good & funny moments when mom came in to chat too;) Lots of movie quoting. I wanted to be able to help Soph more physically, just to see her in pain reminded me of how brutal those first days of recovery are. Unfortunately I was no help in that department but I did change some diapers. TINY diapers. It was just a lovely quiet moment in time to exist there.

Me & dad went on a Costco /Vintage Market run wherein we both spent too much $…as it goes, somehow so fun to do with him!!! Mostly on gifts though, so it feels like it doesn’t count;) haha. We got matching leather bound recycled paper scrapbook albums with “Happily Ever After” on the cover.  Me and my girls decided on making it ALL of the things. ‘Twill be a family scrapbook/junk journal/mini photo album & we can write right in it as well…just regular journaling too! I LOVE it. 

Dad loves it too but I did give him a hard time, he likely won’t fill it:) 

Got over to Collective Underground with Sia and Gwinna one day when MJ had to drop off his hummer for maintenance. LOVE this floor & all of their vintage sweatshirts & creations. We did a quick At Home trip too for some Easters things. 

My SWEET Sia. This lovely little lady reached womanhood…when I was in California! She told no one and told me only when I returned. Poor thing, had to face it alone BUT this is who Sia is. She is chill and takes things as they come. She was totally calm about it and had so many questions for me, already uploaded a period tracker app and is actually excited about it all. Just awesome. We went on her womanhood shopping SPREE, just us!!!  Too much fun just to hang with my Sia. We ate junk and got her lots of cute new clothes & other fun little things! I love this baby so much.

2/19/26 So many good things about this date with myself. First of all I was so cozy… I was wearing one of my most comfortable sweatshirts (moody Minnie, influenced by Stanley to buy! Thank you Stanley!) & my Uggs, of course.  ALSO turned out this theater had seat HEAT (hit or miss with our AMC) I FULLY treated myself ... random Thursday, nothing else on my to-do list & this movie has been getting amaze reviews…”yes I think I will go to the movies…by myself.” Hehe I got it ALL… popcorn, a cherry icee & junior mints from the freezer!  The MOVIE was a real movie! A great (& tragic) story line. Just amazing music, hilarious side characters, authentic acting, such a good, happy, positive energy about the whole thing! I cracked up, multiple times, I cried, I laughed through crying…so good. The main girl was just the sweetest & most beautiful & you want both of them to be so happy. GORGEOUS scene with Andrea Bocelli, loved the addition of him appearing as himself! 

 So refreshing to walk away from a movie feeling light, uplifted, hopeful & inspired. 

Mother-Daughters date to Baking me Crazy & Seven Brothers for our YUM potato wedges and cookie decorating! 

Her face is happy here but she HATED the dreamwalk 😂

 I just had to laugh and ignore her complaints. 

Family date to Dreamwalk in the mall. It was magical & fun to have a fairy wing hunt to go on:) 

After we went to pick out full size mattresses for our getting bigger girlfriends! 

THIS SIA! She put this whole vanity set together BY HERSELF! She plugged in some music and just worked for hours! She felt very good having done it all on her own:)

The girls painted these when I was gone. Target does some fun crafty things for holidays. Loved this one. 

One random day Michael Joe wanted to go to Wal Mart so I went with him because I can always look at Home Edit supplies. We came home with legos, fugglers and random cereals for the girls :) 

Disney nails at PHAT nails for our Disneyland trip! Woo! Some fun conversations were had. The guy doing Sia’s nails asked about the movie filmed in our house and then another woman getting her nails done yelled over to him that it was rated 6% on rotten tomatoes haha! And then it turned to discussing disappointment about the finale of Stranger Things and I heard him ask Sia if she’d ever seen a ghost. Ha! 

These babies. We love them.

We watched David (with the younger gal group) & talked about how crazy it is that Goliath had six fingers and toes! He was such a terrifying, massive character even in cartoon form! Cannot imagine real life.  

These girls. Love them so much. 

Sia had a bring a friend day in gymnastics & asked Grace to come;) She was more flexible and graceful than a lot of the kids! The gym was a wild zoo but they had so much fun!

Another thing to note:

~Gwinna got called to be the 1st counselor for her ‘middle’ girl group and she is SO incredibly happy about it. She’s excited to have a say in activities and get to lead on Sundays. Kessly described her as a “natural leader” and she was grateful for the compliment. So interesting that a mother and daughter can be so very opposite. I am happy to follow:)
