Sept 3- Harry Potter in San Fran with Uncle Don. He bought us all themed presents for the day:) We ate at a Cheesecake Factory on the 7th floor of a Macy’s…fun city experience for the girls. The magic of the show was great & the dementors scared the girls right before the intermission:) LOUD music, water moments & disappearing cloaks through the phone booth. Fun! Sia “how did they do that?!” Multiple times throughout.
Sept 5th- HALLOWEEN shopping day with the daddy. Spirit store - wherein Sia could hardly look up (too scary) and Noelle changed her costume idea to Winnie again this year;) In Michaels each girl grabbed their own cart and chaos ensued…bought a few new pumpkins for the arch:) Slowest checkout ever but the lady was so sweet, we could not be mad about it. Lenders for a new recliner, small and lovely. We got our kitty food, a Halloween blanket, and a sweater vest we have yet to try on him. Ha! Girls hung out with Steph and Brian and me and MJ shopped some more… Kirklands, Kohls, Joann and Big Lots. Favorite find: candelabras at Joann and gray pumpkin stack at Kirklands. Michael was happy to snag those because another couple had been eyeing them too.
GCYA at Gallo started for the girls this month.
The day of this extreme heat me & Michael were eating at the Thailand Restaurant across the street. We have a built in date night for the next couple months and I LOVE it. Every Tuesday night. The girls are loving learning choreography and songs for their show! WIN WIN!
BEACH BOYS in Saratoga! Woo! It has been a few years since we have gone. We came early, got great parking and ate at the venue as well! YUM…so nice to have a reserved table for the night. Fancy. Great food! Filet mignon…a chocolate hazelnut cake…which I have officially decided I am not a fan of the actual nut combo. I love my Nutella…no nuts with my chocolate cake though;)
We also had CLOSE seats! Like 3rd row close and it was energizing to be that close to the stage. Always a great time & beautiful view.
Homeschooling these babies. It has been an adventure already. They create new things on the daily so our art supplies are pretty constantly out, which is both wonderful and hard for this mama.
I love the freedom & family time we have gained from it all.
Letters from the Ant Lili!!!
This girl….One day saw an advertisement for a bacon can and got so thrilled about this idea. Had to try it out. She loves it.
Decor in September…we are crazy.
Making the first pumpkin cookies of the season for our missionary dinner:) Elder Judd goes home soon!
I spy a kitty.
Eleven.
Shopping with the Tia Sophia and Mason baby.
On this morning Sia slept in and Noelle was so excited to have her breakfast set up perfectly for her when she did wake up:) Sweet girls.
Disneyland 2022 with Tia Stephanie, Tio BoBo, and baby Asher. A most different trip than we have ever had. Later starts to our days than usual. We had fun experiencing things we never have before! Gwinna, Noelle and Sia got to go on both Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance rides:) They ALL went on Radiator Springs and I was so happy that Stephanie even got Michael to do that one with me too! He got a little dizzy with the quick turns but in the end said he had a lot of fun on it! Thank goodness. Sia did Big Thunder Mountain with me, Stephanie and Brian. She was a little bit shaken but then she also did Indiana Jones!!! Which….oh my goodness. She was fine but I WAS NOT! It’s such a loud, crazy ride, I held her ears as tight as I could and my chest muscles were cramping after. I think I was more terrified for her than she actually was on the ride! CRAZY. Brian also talked her into doing Goofy’s sky school with us again! Brave girlfriend. Too fun. Me & Brian got to do Guardians…and I think it may have been my last ride of that one ever! I was totally fine after the ride but then me and girls went on Mater and I felt a little bit thrown off. THEN we headed over to eat and I took a bite of my sandwich, looked up and felt everything spin…over & over…for the next half hour…nauseous…off, barely ate. Anyway, not a feeling I want to have again. Me and Brian got to run and do IncrediCoaster a couple times! We all did Pirates together & It’s A Small World and The Haunted Mansion:)
OOGIE BOOGIE bash was a fun time! We had desserts and great seats for the Parade! We did a little bit of trick or treating time and Michaels favorite part was the headless horseman preceding the parade, which of course I did not get a picture of.
At the end of the first night we realized … when we got all the way back to the vehicle that we had lost our keys! NIGHTMARE. Poor Brian…immediately headed back to the park hoping they were at lost & found. In my head I was not too hopeful, honestly. Gwinna so impressed both me and Michael. Sia and Noelle were in tears…just tired, ready to sleep. But Gwinna was comforting her Tia Stephanie (also in tears at one point) and telling all of us we should be saying a prayer that we will find the keys, or for the people who do find the keys, that they’ll be honest and give them back. This woman. Prayers work. Miracles happen. Brian texted finally to say he had them!!!!! WOO! Relief and gratitude all around.
Brett & Sophia are ROCKSTARS.
They did our arch!!!! Soph said she had fun carving all the faces while Mason played or napped:) Truly, it would have been a years long project had I been left to my own devices.
Another shopping trip to get the very last pumpkin and lights for the arch and WAY too much other junk because Michael Joe called when we were out to tell me he settled his first MILLION dollar case!!!!!!
TA DAAAAAAA
It is AMAZING. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!
PERFECT. Ready for a fun October!
