my man
Let me tell you a little bit about life after a C-section. It is NOT glamorous. Especially if your incision site is not completely closed and you are in danger of being infected everyday for 10 weeks after your sweet baby has come into the world! I would choose pregnancy over those weeks...surprisingly:)
Luckily I married the greatest man in all of the universes and he took care of me (& Gwinna) every single day!
He really did it all. At this time in his life he took on the roles of doctor, student, mother, father, cook, maid...everything really!!
He was my doctor when he did not have to be. He was willing to "pack" my wound every single day. And I know that sounds disgusting...well,becauseit WAS!
What a hero this Michael Joe of mine is.
He did the dishes, he cooked, cleaned the house (and anything else that needed to be cleaned), did laundry (one of his least favorite things to do), AND when we came to Provo he went to school and work on top of it all:)
Oh, AND you know you have married THE greatest man when he calls from school and asks you if you think he should pick up some acorns for our little squirrel friend in the back yard.
Um...of course!
So funny and sweet.
He is absolutely my hero and best friend.

Tucanos, Riverwoods shops and Michaels.
We ate a ton of meat...sorry love not my favorite. I could have eaten the pineapple all day though!
Mama looking like the bear:) We stopped for a truffle at the chocolate factory. (No wonder mama looks like the bear)
In Michaels...
cute law school building in the background. This is another of our summer dates!
Smash burger...what?!
Thanksgiving in Dennys!!! We are not ashamed;)
That is a "cougar tail" in the background! Actually just a very long maple bar. We have fun around here.
I LOVE family dates;)

my bike
My husband loves me.
He bought me a spinning bike.
I told him it is my birthday, Christmas, New Years, and Valentine's Day present:)
He did not listen;)
Utah
Reasons I am falling in love with UTAH (can you even believe it?)
1. Cheap cheap cheap!!! I love ANY kind of thrift store and DI is just lovely. I love going grocery shopping and feeling like I spent so little for so much! Fun, free dates!!!
2. Riverwoods. Really great unique shops...
3. The pace. So relaxing here for some reason.
4. Trees line the streets! LOVE that.
5. BYU....
creamery ice cream,
cheap smoked gouda,
visiting the campus for our hot dates,
my husband LOVES it,
fun live performances,
great bookstore,
family friendly,
LOTS of Mormons...not all great but I do love them:)
6. Old buildings. I love our old house even though I believe every single light switch should be moved AND I love our old church building...too hot sometimes but we have recently discovered our new seats...in the balcony:)
7. Being able to walk with Gwinna and feel safe.
8. The mountains...I almost get the same feeling when I am standing beside the ocean...almost ;)
