It was an overwhelming week for us.  In a GREAT way:)

 Overwhelming because we felt so much love, light and warmth from our families and many others that are excited to welcome our baby girl into this world. My amazing mama Isabel, sister Stephanie and brother Brian gave us such a beautiful, sweet baby shower!

We are in the midst of  a horribly sad, 

yet wonderfully sacred work 

for an organization called Relief Society in my church. 

The reason I learned to crochet...

  The blankets below will hold the precious, tiny souls who go back to their 

Father in Heaven 

very quickly.

There is a purpose, but it is far too mysterious to grasp in this life.

I do know that they are perfect, celestial babies though and I feel so honored to be a part of creating a small comfort for them (and hopefully their parents) as they depart.  

our lives lately...

The past couple weeks have been somewhat eventful for me;) I say me because Michael's life is always so. Law school keeps you alert.  

I learned a new crochet stitch from the sweetest lady named Anne.
This is the beginning of our baby's blanket;) 

We went to see MADEA! We are in love with her! Tyler Perry is such a wise man in so many ways.
 He always does a great job. We are so happy to have discovered him (thanks Steph and Brian!)
 So many great moments.
We were the minority at this event...it was awesome.  

UFC...getting harder for me to watch but I do love it still for some reason...

We went to the dentist and as I waited for Michael I found this lovely sugary recipe~!

trying to be creative...

 Michael wondered aloud to me one day if there is a phase of pregnancy that you go through that makes you want to destroy things.  I had no intention of destruction, just the opposite actually.  I wanted to create. 

So I cut up some clothes:/ (sorry mom)

 I knew that I wanted elephants, cute fabric, sweet art for our baby girl...I always want to type her name but that is one thing (aside from our families already knowing) that we would like to keep a surprise!
